Improv For Actors

Feedback on our Improv for Actors workshop was so enthusiastic, that we’re going to do it again!

While improvisational comedy has gained recognition as its own art form in the last decade, actors can also benefit greatly from using improv as a tool to help them improve their craft. In this workshop, you will focus on the "acting" part of improv, with specific emphasis on listening, being in the moment, and having a thought about whatever was just said or done. Utilizing a series of exercises and games that have been modified from improv comedy training and refocused to encourage active listening in actors, this workshop will help you to get out of your left brain and rely on the genius that is in your right brain.

Dates: Fridays, September 30th and October 7th
Time: 5:00 pm
Duration: Approx. 3-4 hours
Age: 18+
Class Size: 12 actors maximum
Cost: $75 if you are enrolled in any September class, and
$95 if you are not enrolled in any September class.
