Do you want to Clean(se) Up Your Act(ing)?

In an effort to kill as many birds as possible with one stone (sorry birds!), we have put together an intense, one-day workshop designed to enrich your game in some of the most vital areas of your life: your acting, your spirit, your health, and your marketing!

Are you crazy busy? Do you simply have too much to do and just not enough time to get it all done? If that’s the case, then this day is perfect for you. Clean(se) Up Your Act(ing) is the perfect antidote to your stress. You get to make significant strides in your acting, restore your health, evolve spiritually, and update your marketing! All in one day! It’s pretty ideal for those who simply can’t find the time for self-care and self-improvement.

This class is designed to

• improve your auditions, perfect your text analysis and enhance your acting,
• expand your knowledge of health and nutrition,
• give your digestion a day off and time to heal,
• stretch and destress you,
• boost your energetic appeal and clear blocks to align with the jobs you want, &
• maybe even get a new headshot,

all in one day!

Everyone is welcome – actors new to us, actors we haven’t seen in a while, actors we see all the time, even LK&Co. faculty!

Come hang out with Bridgette Becker (the lead nutritionist at We Care Spa), Spiritual Life Coach Nikki Hayden, superb photographer/Broadway star Rob Parks and yours truly, Lesly Kahn, on Saturday, June 8th from 8 am to 4 pm.

Specifically, during this full day class you will:

Cleanse your body:

• Experience a one-day fast from sugar, gluten, dairy, corn, animal protein and processed foods, while enjoying delicious, homemade nourishment so your brain can function optimally throughout the day!
• Plus, Bridgette Becker (you can find out all about her at taprootenergetics.com; not only is she frighteningly knowledgeable, but she is one of my closest friends, so you couldn’t be in better hands) will talk about the relationship between stress, food and beauty from the inside out, while demonstrating how to make delicious elixirs, smoothies and soups to support detoxification, gut health, nervous and immune system support. These tips will give you simple ways to boost energy, balance mood and support gut and immune function.
• And we’ll do some gentle yoga, so bring your mat!

Cleanse your mind!

• I will personally work with each of you to diagnose and remedy current, individual acting, auditioning and/or marketing issues and clean up your path to success. More about me here: leslykahn.com.

Cleanse your soul!

• Nikki Hayden (another very close friend, LK&Co. faculty member, and general all around goddess – you can read about her at alignyourlife.com) will teach you how to increase your vibration and energetic magnetism to align with the jobs and life you want. She will provide you with tools to attract financial abundance, and help you remove blocks to reaching your goals.

Cleanse your marketing!

• If you’d like to clean up your headshots, for an additional $50 (that is a deeeaaaal, no?), LA headshot and editorial photographer Rob Parks (www.robshots.com) will be available for one-or-two-look headshot sessions. He’ll shoot in studio lighting, for either commercial or theatrical looks. The sessions will be quick, so you’ll want to show up in one of your two looks (including hairstyle/makeup) and bring an additional top and accessories into which you can easily change. This is a great opportunity to grab that extra look you've been needing to add to your marketing! It works best if you know exactly what you need PRIOR TO the session.
