Tape Away

I want to share this letter from an actor with all of you, and encourage you to follow his lead:

Dear Les,

I thought I was perfect for this fantasssstic part but the Big Deal Casting Director wouldn’t see me. So, my agent put together a collage and said, “He’s perfect. You gotta see him.” The Big Deal Casting Director was still not convinced and said, “Fine. Have him self-tape.” So, I made a killer tape. Two days later I was pinned. Two days after that I booked it. 🙂 Gives me hope!! Sometimes the acting prevails and sometimes self-tapes book you the damn job!
